Clear water, clean and soft sand, and great looking people. The beach is huge. It is definitely worth a days visit if you are in the area. The art deco buildings are certainly unique, with great restaurants and bars. Visit Mango's for lively dining with bartenders getting up on the bars once every half hour for some butt shaking.

South Beach in Miami

A wonderful drive from Fort Lauderdale is along A-1A beach area to South Beach in Miami. You pass lovely beaches, and large, beautiful homes and shops. South Beach is where the beautiful people are and the beach/boardwalk area is interesting and beautiful.
