Buyer Beware!

I made reservations for a client for a business meeting. It got cancelled and I cancelled the reservations two days in advance. I was very surprised when I got my credit card bill and we had been charged for a night's stay! I was not told they have a 72-hour cancellation policy. I was not told that when I booked, it was not on the online travel website, and I was not told when I cancelled the reservation that we were being charged. Had I known, someone would have used the room for the night. The hotel refused to refund the charge -- even though the person who cancelled the reservation gave me another person's name, said they didn't give cancellation confirmation numbers, and did not tell me we would be charged. DON'T RESERVE WITH THIS HOTEL IF THERE IS A CHANCE YOU WILL NEED TO CANCEL WITHIN THREE DAYS OF THE RESERVATION.

NEVER AGAIN THE EXPERIENCE OUTWEIGHS THE BEACH.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After having stayed at many hotels in the area having to visit Florida often , i was eager to get there because the hotel is on the beach a nice option . Well after having an issue at checkin with the hotel claiming the had not billed us for our deposit that set the tone for the whole weekend.......That wasn't resolved and i payed the whole bill hoping to be reimbursed once i get settled back home. the pool is nice but when i wanted to use the lazy river with my wife several days in a row they let the children staying there use the pool for there lap swimming and horse play which would have been better in the pool ...IE we could not enjoy it.....2) If anyone does not listen to this you will regret it ...The hotel is small i guess with no banquet room so for 3 nights they had wedding receptions and private functions in the hotel lobby.................. well as a paying guest what happened to other guests who bring people back to entertain and talk and cant use the facility? Checking in 2 ft away from a party is a little retarted in my book and very uncomfortable.... 3) Saturday night had someone knocking at my door at 12:30 am look no one there call security nothing .... ... ok 1:00 after falling asleep again knocking at the door woke us up and i see no one there at the door thinking someone is looking to rob us.. call security . Told management rooms are not secure open to public which they agree . You think they would have given us a free breakfast for our trouble? Absolutely nothing

We loved it!

My husband and I had a romantic getaway for three days. It was a great place. Our view was awesome. We loved the beach service. No towels, or chairs to lug to the beach. They provide all of that! We can't wait to go back. Only negative, is if you do not have a car, we did not, it is not close to anything. Everywhere required a taxi ride, which got quite pricey.

awesome room and location

This hotel was better than I expected. The ocean front suite was a full bedroom, bath and a full living room. The view was awesome. The place looked brand new- the chairs and umbrellas were included on the beach which is nice for a change. Excellent value for the location and the size of the room. Would love to return.

We are staying there again!!!!!

Yes, this is an upper-end hotel, in an upper-end area. And that is what you have to expect when you go . . . this property is beautiful, clean, the staff are warm and friendly. We enjoyed a very, very expensive room service dinner one night, eating out on the balcony, which is practically right over the water. They food was not disappointing; it was memorable!!!! The $$ were nothing compared to the food and gracious service. If you are going to come to such a resort, you need to be prepared to spend on tips and "extras", such as valet parking, internet connection, and in-room movies. If these kind of extras are a concern for you, then you need to stay somewhere else and not let little costs aggrevate you and ruin your enjoyment of your vacation. Life is too short. It IS disappoinging to splurge and pay high-end rates for a property that has stained carpets, trash in the lobby that the staff walks right by . . . This is a wonderful property and we highly recommend it. And we are staying again this year, this month!!
