Ruidoso NM is a small town nestled in the Sacramento Mountains adjacent to the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation. It is a town of variety and activity, an eclectic mix of New Mexican, Indian, American, and German culture. A place that truly has a little bit of flavor for everyone.

Ruidoso, New Mexico is a great place to get away from the heat in the summer. It warms up during the day, but is cool at night.

Stayed at Crown Point Condos - comfortable but needs updating. Staff friendly and helpful. Must have car - put on over 1600 miles going to White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, etc. Enjoyed Ruidoso shopping. Golfing okay but overpriced. Enjoyed hiking (Crest Trail). Bottom line, been there, done that, moving on.
