What butt-burning biking? Angkor Wat, that's what. Budget and eco-friendly too. See all the touristy and non-tourist sites for the amount of time you desire and then finish with waterfall.Doing it the day after New Year's Eve was a bit less crowded.

Off tourist-beaten tracks, the Rolous Group of Temples are under-rated and un-touristy. The oft missed city wats are both fabulous and free.

Siem Reap is the perfect base to visit the absolutely amazing temples of Angkor Wat. It is a really fabulous little town that has a great atmosphere and everything a traveller needs including great accommodation, fabulous restaurants, and many Internet cafes.
