Business Traveler Beware!

Lots of problems at my stay in April at this hotel. The thermostat in the room never worked the whole time I stayed there. The temperature never dropped below 74 degrees in my room despite setting it to the coldest setting. I had to sleep with the window open to cool the room so I didn't toss and turn all night long. The water temperature in the room had two settings, hot or scalding. I had to draw a bath the night before just to have the water cool when I woke up. The microwave didn't function when I tried to use it, probably because it was thirty years old. They brought up the same exact model. It took about twice as long to cook something in it as a normal microwave. To top it off, they got my bill wrong when I checked out.
On a quick side note, I was working very odd hours during my stay at this hotel so when I called downstairs to have someone look at the water temperature, I was assured they would be right up to look at it. So I left the door cracked open as I was on the couch waiting for them. It took them two hours to finally come up. That was time I could've spent catching a nap, but thanks to them I waited even after calling to see if they had forgotten about me.
I stayed over 150 nights at hotels last year, mostly all Hilton brand, some Embassy Suites. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at considering the price of the room for what I got.

I have stayed at Embassy Suites for a number of years as a child until now. They have always been great. This time staff was rude. The highlight was leaving. They messed up everything including the bill. They advertise a nightly reception in the atrium and it was in a stuffy bar, morning breakfast sub par. Parking over priced and slow. This was suppose to be a special extra for my wife and friends it ended up being a disappointment. We should have stayed in Days Inn

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for a total of 11 days. For the most part my 16 year old son enjoyed himself. Hanging out in the lobby with other visitors staying in the hotel. One night room service was order requesting a hamburger to be cooked well done. When the burger arrived it was burnt. After calling down to complain I was told that in Georgia well done to them mean burnt. The fries and chicken ordered was also cold. I was told it would be about 45 minutes to get some more food. I was never told it would be comped after my complaint. They just sent up some soup to replace the cold fries which was never ate. After being there a couple days I begin smelling a strong oder and pulled the sheets to find a large ring on the mattress from someone wetting the bed. After calling to complain the first lady came and looked and began laughing, and called someone else which they were having a really good time laughing at my expense. The finally pulled the mattress out of another room and changed mattress. There was an appology given but it was in a joking manner. On check out I complained about my stay and was offered two free nights stay to come back. At this point in time I would not be redeeming the voucher.

We have stayed 3 weekends this fall while attending football games with family. Could not ask for better service and accommodations. The only downer is the sofa needs to be updated, but even this does not put a damper on our stays. The staff is outstanding!!! We will be back at least 3 more weekends this fall..Lord willing! Thank you Airport Embassy Suites for delightful stays. Keep up the good work!

As soon as I stepped into the room I went to the fan to turn it on high because it was very hot in the room, I realized that the fan was already on high, and it barely blew anything out. I was tempted on my stay to go buy my own personal fan, but I had no space for the travel back home. Room service ran out of milk, and condiments. Breakfast was great even though there was a family reunion one night and a wedding the next, (make sure you get up as soon as breakfast is available or you will be waiting in line forever)
