Nice but not perfect

The rooms (suites - all rooms are suites) were spectacular. Lots of space, 2 widescreen televisions and a tv in the bathroom (too bad I don't watch television that much). I did have to request extra towels every day and the room I was staying in was starting to show a little wear and tear. The only other inconvenience was the noise - if you stay in a room with a strip view, you'll be able to hear the nightclub TAO until the wee hours in the morning. While I definitely appreciated their food, I'm now too old to appreciate loud noise all night (btw - we were staying on the 33rd floor). One last positive comment - the staff was by far the most polite, well-mannered hotel crew I've ever encountered. I'm not just talking about the front desk - it carries over to all help - maintenance, housekeeping, restaurant servers, dealers (at least at the craps table).

In room safe issues, to use or not use

The hotel was beautiful! The value was wonderful. Very plush rooms!! A little on the dusty side but, However we had a very faulty in room safe. Wasn't a good situation to be in.. We called to get it fixed. Spent - wasted a fair amount of our vacation time waiting in our room for the tech. to come fix it. He finally came and attempted to fix it, we then placed our show tickets (value -$$$$) and other items in the safe. Came show time and couldn't get the safe open.. Waited for the tech again, never came. The safe happened to open moments before we needed to leave for the show needless to say we didn't use it again. The safe was never truely fixed. The Hotel was very busy but can you imagine missing "O" because they were locked in the safe in your rooms safe?? Other than that it was a great stay!

Disappointed in the Details

The good: Big rooms, all-suite hotel. Bathroom was very large and spacious. Relatively close to the airport for cheaper cab fare or quicker pick-up/drop off via van shuttle. Restaurant staff was very nice. The bad: No free wireless Internet in the room; no in-room coffee machine; dried, sticky syrup or food residue on the bed cover; cereal and food crumbs in the corner of the living room and a dead insect inside the closet (as if housekeeping was rushed and only got to the very visible parts of the room), no dresser drawers (just shelves), no bubble bath or gel for the tub, and temperature control never worked, even after we reported that we couldn't circulate the air with a fan option (could only heat or cool the room). The casino smoke is everywhere: elevators, hallways, and even the supposed non-smoking areas in and around restaurants. Didn't make me want to come back to Vegas and stay there any time soon.

Great stay

I chose this hotel because of the value at the time of purchase. I had been in Las Vegas before and hoped to be able to come back and stay in a 5 star hotel. The check in process was quickly, although there were a lot of people in line at the time of arrival (11am) they had about 10 staff members helping with check-in. It only took us about 15 minutes and we were done. Check out process was also quick. The staff was very helpful in both the hotel and the casino. We had a great time and will stay again if I come to Las Vegas in the future.

The hotel, services and food were number 1. The hotel was very clean. We asked for a non smoking room and it was. The room was very large for their basic suite. Very Clean and kept up for a 10 year old property. We had three flat screens in the room, including the bathroom. The bathroom was also very nice. we figured that there wasn't any marble left on the world after looking at the hotel, and the rooms. They had over 30 places to eat. Never waited for a table. The pools we also well kept and very clean. Service at the pool was excellent. Just a very nice place.
