First night there in the middle of dinner in our room maintence needed in room to check on cable connection for other rooms We were not having problems with ours TV. Ok tryed to understand that. We had a small child in room and they left cover off cable opening in wall. Then on second day they were drilling and hammering in the room next door and on the floor above us for hours and the baby was screams the hold time he was frighten by the noise. Call downstairs to report and was told they would check on it but they never return call. It continued on. Just a bad trip. The first time we stayed there it was just a wonderful trip. We were telling friends about how good it was .That was reason for second trip there.

Great for the price, will stay again!

We had mixed feelings staying at this hotel because of mixed reviews. But we decided to go ahead with it since it was such a good deal. The desk staff were OK, but not exceptional. Our room, on the other hand, was excellent. It was clean, though the furniture and carpet showed a little wear. We stayed in the suite tower with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, and living room area. We chose an oceanfront, not an ocean view, so we had a full frontal view of the ocean. We also requested an upper floor, so we had a really great view of the ocean and the coastline. The hotel was right on the ocean, so we could walk out back and be right on the beach. The location was perfect because we were within minutes (driving) of all of Myrtle Beach’s major attractions. The only thing we didn’t like was that the pool was closed for our entire stay (5 nights), even the indoor pool. Plus, the housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days they came at 9 in the morning, and other days at 4 p.m. Some days they would come in and make the bed, take dirty towels, replace toilet paper, etc., and other days they would come and only take the trash. Also, there is no wireless internet in the hotel, even though it is advertised in the rooms. You must borrow an Ethernet cable from the front desk or bring your own. And the jack in the master bedroom was not even working. Also, there's free parking, but it’s across the street from the hotel behind another hotel. Overall, we had a great time here and recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a nice place to stay at an afordable rate.

A 2 Star Trying to be a 3 Star

Room was gotten threw Hotwire and was a bottom basement room advertised as a 3 star. No view, noisy and really a plain Jane room. It was what I would expect from a 1-2 Star room. Real Clean, but no frills. Micro bumped around, Coffee maker didn't work. Knobs on tub were loose and not the right ones, really cheaply installed. Toilet kept running. Furnishings was OK but sure wasn't extra. It's really an older remodeled, motel that shares the same ameneties as a newer section 3 star motel with the same name. They must have shown Hotwire the other motel for them to say this was a Best Value 3 star. Your right I will complain to Hotwire cause they had never let me down before. Really disappointed

Stayed in a one bedrooom condo on the 8th floor. The room was very clean and huge. I hate staying in hotels but I felt very comfortable at this one. Staff was friendly and helpful. Full time security 24 hours a day Great location to everything without the noise and traffic congestion.

we stayed in 2 bed suite on 19th floor, great views, 2 balconies. 5 adults & 2 little kids. 2bed suite had full kitchen & wash/dry& pullout sofa in living...great for families. room was clean, carpet was worn (due to sand). not a luxury hotel, but very nice, reasonable rate for great location. pool size was disappointing, also due to bldg shadow pool is in the shade most of the time, but so are all on the beach with highrise hotels.
