- I went with my boyfriend and a group of friends to Myrtle Beach, SC, for a few days. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Breakers North Towers.

- This was our first time using our timeshare at our resort and we were not dissappointed. The resort is in a quieter section and still close enough to the center of it all - the food, the fun, and the entertainment.

- Myrtle Beach has a special meaning for us since it was our first vacation trip together over 15 years ago. It had been several years since we had visited the area, so we took a four-day escape to the beach for some much-needed rest and relaxation.

- I decided to look at as many motels in Myrtle Beach as I could during a week of travel with my family. I am originally a South Carolinian and wanted to know how much the strand had changed in fifty years.

- Myrtle Beach is great for families. Where else can you find 47 mini-golf courses, the Dixie Stampede, amusement parks, and a beautiful beach in one destination? Beware, however, of the accommodations. They can be nasty. Families looking for 4-star should head for North Myrtle Beach, Garden City, or Surfside.

- You won’t find that over-promoted rodent at Myrtle Beach, but you will find 47 miniature golf courses, inexpensive but comfortable hotels, old-timey amusement parks, sixty miles of beach along the Grand Strand, and enough kitschy delights to keep even the most tireless connoisseur of lowbrow culture amused.

- Mrytle Beach in October is the best time of the year to visit. The traffic was light, the beaches were virtually empty, the weather was great, and the crowd at the attractions was light. The ideal trip!!
