Dining in Von's is a must. The food is awesome. Room furnishing are a little tired. But overall a great value, great location and a wonderful staff. They follow through with all complaints and leave nothing unresolved.

Centrally located in downtown Seattle. If your going shopping, walking, site seeing it's perfect. If you have children, it is very kid friendly. Pretty much anywhere you go to shop and see, your hotel is mere minutes to get back to if the kids get tired. We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite with 1 child and with 3 children and all alone and it's perfect for all. The views, especially during Christmas time were fabulous, we could see the water. The room service was fast and the food was superb, even kids food. We always stay here for fun and when we go to events and Key Arena and surrounding other events.
Great location but very small rooms.

Great location but very small rooms. We had a Queen room that was no bigger then my closet at home. We had to pay a $* upgrade to get this room so my wife could have a bathtub. I can't imagine the size of the room we were going to have.
The room was clean and had a nice view. The tub did not drain very fast so if you took a 5 min shower you would be standing in 3 inches of dirty water. Great.
Overall for location you can't beat it but for the same price we could have stayed at a different hotel with a much better room.

I was very satisfied with the Roosevelt. We had two rooms; a single and a double. The single was quite small, but perfectly adequate. The double was very roomy. Both rooms were spotlessly clean. The best feature of the hotel was the location. It is right across the street from the Pacific Place mall, a block or two from Westlake Center and easy walking distance from the Pike Place Market, the waterfront and the Monorail station to Seattle Center. You would be hard put to find a more convenient location for enjoying a vacation in Seattle. All in all I would say the Roosevelt was an excellent value.
Disappointed

The desk clerk told me that they had much nicer rooms but I wasn't getting one of those. My room was tiny and cramped with torn carpeting. I had much better choices for a few bucks more. Don't believe the pictures on their web site. If you're booking a room online, that's not your room.
