I absolutely loved San Juan Marriott Resort. It's location was perfect for walking and there were so many places close by. Their restaurants were a bit expensive but there were other places near by. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The staff at the Marriott were most helpful and friendly. The hotel was very accomodating to families with small children.. I travel a lot on business and can say that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

I would check out other places

Presently on vacation at the Marriott. Hotel is ok. My biggest gripe is the lobby. There is a disco that adjoins the lobby. I have been to rock concerts that were quieter than the lobby of this hotel. We got a good deal on the room and I cannot say anything bad about the location of the rooms. I am just not sure that this hotel should be rated as highly as it is. We are going to check out the El San Juan and the Intecontinental for our next stay. They seem to priced comparably and have more of a wow factor

wonderful hotel, very nice area

The view from the room was great. Get a 5th floor or above. Most of the rooms face North, and you see the pool and the ocean directly. The tower rooms face West, but you still see the pool and ocea(EXCEPT the south facing tower rooms face the city). Don't do those. Its too beautiful from the other rooms. You are at the pools 15 steps from the elevator. Then you walk right out from the gorgeous pools down onto the groomed beach. Breathtaking. The water was not for snorkeling or swimming when we were there. Actually nowhere along the north shore of the island we know of. The lobby of the hotel is noisy, but they have a good tome dancing at nightand in the casino. A top notch casino, by the way. The buffet breakfast and dinner were first class. Everything is expensive. Don't go thinking its third world country, it'll be cheap. It is NOT. Very cosmopolitan, very upscale. The street that the hotel is on is Ashford aVe. and has many fine places to shop and eat. The street in fromt of the Ritz Carlton and Intercontinental not so. Old San Quan is very very interesting. Two days there not two much.

Another great stay at the Marriott

This was our second stay at the hotel and it continues to be consistant in it's accommadation and quality of their staff. Rooms are clean and in good repair, lobbys and restaurants are are neat and orderly and the food was always first rate. The staff is alway friendly and helpful and are always interested in customers needs. Will be back next year for our get out of winter get away..........
