Surprising Well Maintained

This hotel is on a small island that doesn't seem to get much credit for what it has to offer. The hotel is a great property that sits right on the beach and the staff is always so friendly and accomodating. I think the hotel is about 5 years old, and they seemed to always be cleaning, or running around looking for stuff to clean. I attended a meeting and the banquet rooms were nice. The meeting ended a little earlier than scheduled so I had time to hit the beach and ended up staying another night to enjoy. This is not a highly commercialized destination, but rather a place to really enjoy the beach in a slower paced and friendlier environment. Good if you just want to relax, and much more affordable too!

Very nice hotel

We are an elite hotel guest and we typically stay at this hotel once or twice per year. It is a very comfortable hotel. This visit we found the beds a bit more uncomfortable. The room was clean except for some mildew on the shower curtain. All and all it was above average and had a nice view. The pool and workout areas were nice as well, but need a bit of attention to those little things. We spent most of our visit without having any paper cups in the workout room so we couldn't access the water dispenser. Also the clock in the pool area was dead due to a battery. I would suggest taking the clock out or refreshing the battery. The staff at the desk and restaurant were great. Security was okay but the elevatior probably could benefit from being locked via card access after hours to keep non-registered guests out of the guest room area. I would recommend the hotel and probably will stay there again.

Awesome place to stay. my girlfriend and I got the jaccuzi room and we loved it. The hotel staff was very friendly, and helped us out with any questions we had. The only thing i did not like about the hotel was there was no free breakfast. The bed was super comfy, and the view was amazing, maybe a 15 second walk to the beach from the 1st floor. They have 2 pools as well, an indoor and outdoor. we went in the spring, so the outdoor one wasnt open, but the indoor one was, the water was a little cold, but still good. the maids were also very nice, one day they came early and we were not ready to leave, so we asked them just to give us about 10 minutes, they smiled and said no problem, and got the room done later. i would recomened this hotel to anyone, rather it be family, couples, or just some friends wanting to get away.

A Wonderful Experience

We stayed here for a business trip, but would definitely return again for personal travel. The location is unbeatable. The hotel is right on the beach, and all guest rooms have an ocean view. The room and other facilities were in good condition and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the carpets in our room had just been cleaned and weren't quite dry. At our request, we were moved without argument and were given a free upgrade to a spa room. Every staff member, from the front desk employees to the housekeepers and restuarant servers, all seemed dedicated to friendliness and excellent customer service. As to the price, we stayed here in December, during the off season. I know the rooms rates are two to three times as high during peak season, especially at spring break and in the summer. We would love to return during those busy times to see how the staff and facilities measure up to this stay, which, as we said, were excellent.

The hotel had clean and spacious rooms. However, they seemed understaffed. The couple in front of us was told they would have to wait several hours past check-in for the room they had reserved. Our room was skipped for room service, but they sent someone up soon after we complained.
