Dunfey's Aboard the John Wannamaker

Dunfey's Aboard the John Wannamaker bills itself as the only floating restaurant in NH. The John Wannamaker was a working tugboat for 73 years, hauling coal with its steam engine. It has been restored to an elegant, charming interior, perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. The food was fantastic--I ordered the pepper-crusted tuna, pan-seared to perfection. He had the Grilled Fillet Mignon...some of the best that he's had. The waitstaff was superb. And there's no closer view of the river as you eat... (Just be careful if you get seasick. The boat is in the water).
