Not what I expected

The Motel was clean and the staff was friendly. That's it, the pool is not what you see in the picture. It is in the middle of the parking lot and the pictures of the Motel does not show the four lane highway in front of the place and on the side of the place. If you want to sleep / shower and go . . . this is your place. If you want to stay by the pool and relax, keep looking.

A great place to stay. My husband and I came to Portsmouth for a couple of days and couldn't have been happier. Our room had a kitchen and was really clean and nicely decorated. Everyone was really nice and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Nice comfortable motel located just South of the Portsmouth traffic circle. Easy to get to. I had a room with 2 double beds. Rooms were small, but well laid out. Bathroom was excellent with toiletries provided. Everything was exceptionally clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Continental breakfast provided along with good coffee available 24/7. Slight noise from US 1 Bypass South, but not enough to bother sleep. Moderate prices - good buy. Would certainly stay there again.

Privately run. Right off the Portsmouth Circle. Great thought in the layout of the room. Extra outlets where needed, not hidden behind heavy funiture. Shoppers' 2-day pkg an find extra. Continental breakfast available. Very friendly front desk staff. Ironging board, iron, hair dryer in roon. Comfortable beds. Would most definitely stay here again. Great value. Have stayed in many places over the years. Cannot say enough good things about The Port Inn.
