In One Word: Incredible

This was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The fish were so friendly and interactive, swimming right up to you. At one point I was able to swim into a "fish vortex." The visibility that day wasn't as good as I hear it can be (I bet it was about 30 ft, which is still impressive for me) We went with Bali Scuba Masters, who were also wonderful. They took care of all the details. Tulamben was also a beautiful town. Black rock beaches with beautiful blue water. We had a great lunch in between dives.

We dove the wreck of the Liberty first - I'm a serious claustrophic but it was so interesting I forgot all about it. Going in through what was the old entrance way and along the coral encrusted passage way and being able to peer out through the port holes, it was fascinating. Loads of fish life all very inquisitive of course.

Then the coral wall still great starting at 18 metres and gradually ascending with a myriad of coral and fish species. Visibilty of about 20 metres.
