Myeong-Dong, the Best Place to Shop

Myeong-Dong, the Best Place to Shop

This is probably my favorite place to go, especially at night when I'm craving to shop. There are so many miscellaneous items: little key chains/trinkets, mittens, hair clips, blankets, socks, toys, purses, and a bunch of clothes stores, all for a decent price. Near the end of 2008, they had the grand opening of Forever 21. The Forever 21 is absolutely amazing there. They make it look so much better than all the Forever 21 places I've seen in the States. Fashion is really big in S. Korea, and Forever 21 really captures all the popular styles there.

There are all different kinds of restaurants and yummy street foods. The Pizza Hut is also very fancy, might I add.

Myeong-dong is also very brightly lit, so it's fun to just go and take a stroll down the modern streets of Seoul.

You'll probably also see a lot of Japanese visitors. I've bumped into a few who fly to Seoul frequently just for the food and shopping experience.

We headed out to Myongdong because that's where the big crowds are. It was so much fun because there are so many people to see here and lots of shopping here too! Everything is a knockoff. It seems like it's the trend in Korea. But if you see the way the girls and boys dress, it looks good. It's a version of how the Japanese dress. Anyways, Myongdong is fun to shop, people-watch, eat, everything! It's just a little pricey, but if I had a place to go back to in Korea, IT WOULD BE HERE! Lotte Plaza was here also.
