The next day we met at the shop in the morning, to have another cup of coffee and a chat with the other divers. We had a nice walk to the beach, where a small panga was already waiting to take us to the boat: a trimaran called the Tahonga. Because it’s a trimaran, it slides through the waves so easily that you don’t even feel the waves. The divemasters were already on the boat, and they’d set up our gear for us. (I rented their equipment: it was in good condition.) The entire staff was really friendly, but professional as well. There seem to be numerous dive sites around Coco, and because I wanted to see manta’s, they picked the best spot. But the manta’s, weren’t alone: we saw spotted eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, seahorses, turtles, moray eels, and much more. (There also seem to be whales and whale sharks around, but I wasn’t that lucky to see them as well.) All the time you are surrounded by big schools of fish, which you can sometimes even touch: it’s a great view. Also, on the boat ride out, we had three dolphins accompanying the boat! After we got back, the tea was ready: it’s always nice to have a place to relax and enjoy a drink after diving. The Dutch owners are really nice as well, and they even took me and some other divers out for dinner. I had a great time diving with Rich Coast, and I’d like to thank the entire staff. Everyone should try them out, so if you are planning on going to Costa Rica, pay Rich Coast a visit!

This PADI dive center is just in Dutch hands, the new owners have changed the shop quite a bit. It's the only dive shop in the neigborhood, who besides awesome dive trips, also sells dive gear and funny T-shirts.If you want to learn the fun of diving you should go here, and for the more experienced divers ask about the Catalina and Bat island trips.
The big table to socialize and have coffee is a real asset to the whole diving atmosphere!
