Good Hotel in Hanoi, Highlight in My Trip

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This was definately a highlight of our trip. The accommodation is as you see on the internet. A lovely warm hotel, with very friendly staff (most speak English). The rooms were very clean and spacious and were cleaned daily. Had lots of couches/chairs/beds covered in white towelling material so we could dry before we went to our room. hot water in room is just what we need in the cool weather. It was a bit quiet when we were there, so unsure how it would be if fully booked out...Sure it would have a great family feel though. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was great most of them spoke english. They do not have restaurant but you can order delicious affordable meals (delivered by outside RES) and a wide variety, breakfast which was included and served in a friendly atmosphere.
I will be back to this hotel.

Comfortable Hotel with Friendly Staff

I arranged the reservation directly with the hotel @ US$22 per night for their deluxe room (3rd floor).

I also arranged airport pick-up @ US$15.

Both the transporation and check-in went smoothly.

I checked out for a couple of days to take the Phoenix cruise, and the hotel were happy to hang onto my larger luggage. They did request a deposit to hold a room for me upon my return, which was fair enough, and again went off with-out a hitch.

The location is perfect for Hanoi,
The lake and water puppet show just a short stroll away.

The staff at the hotel are attentive, polite, and quite charming. The room was large with all the normal fittings and fixtures you'd get in a 3 star hotel. The daily fruit bowl & fresh flowers were a nice touch too.

There was NO PRESSURE from the staff to buy any tours or anything else. The service provided gave me the impression that the staff are trying VERY hard to build a positive reputation for the hotel chain, and that's a good thing. I know the staff check this site to gauge their success.

Oh yeah, if you have a heart condition, don't forget to ask for a first floor room, I had a third floor room, and then a fourth floor room 2nd time round, and the climb will get you fit or kill you.

Nice place to stay over-all, great value for the price in Hanoi.

Very Good Hotel for at US$ 20

I have been here one week for my business. It was very quiet hotel located near to every thing. Hotel manager Mr Jimmy provide me many information about travel companies in Vietnam it is very useful for my business. Thanks so much to Jimmy and his staff.

This is new hotel also, my room is very clean and large. only $ 20/ night is very reasonable price. I think
I recommend this for my clients in Thailand.

The Most Friendly Staff and Great Location

I booked this hotel via hostelworld.com and to be picked up from the airport by hotel driver. I was surprised by welcoming of hotel manager and very friendly receptionist and hotel atmosphere also.
my family have been there for 3 days in a balcony room and then took a tour to Halong bay. They recommended me great tour with Phoenix cruise. it was quite high price comparing to my budget but reasonable.

Hotel staff always smile and say "hello how are you' in a friendly way.
it is 100 meters to get to Catholic Church and very quiet place at night.
i will be back to Civility hotel and recommend this for all my friends
