Really cold pool!

We were looking for a place to stay while traveling in between two cities. We looked for a hotel with a continental breakfast and a pool for the kids. Unfortunately, the pool was FREEZING! Not just cold, but freezing cold. My kids are too young to play in the hot tub, or that would have been a good alternative. The room still smelled like it was a former smoking room, and there were burn stains on the tub and various places around the room. The toilet moved when you sat on it, and the shower would flip while scalding hot to bearable without notice while you were in it. On a positive note, the continental breakfast was good. There was a good selection, and the kids liked it. I was not impressed by the staff there. I stood at the front desk for a while before anyone even acknowledged my existence. Other than that, it was a decent stay for the money. I would probably drive a little farther into Midland to avoid this place next time!
Stop and flop

Avoid this filthy dump. The rooms were dirty and the door was not secure. The TV did not work right and the towels were dingy grey. The water smelled and tasted like dirt even when made into coffee. I paid way too much for a hard bed and noisy airconditioner.
Not worth the money

The rooms were not clean...trash on floor, empty water bottles under bed, and the bathroom sink had not been cleaned. The complimentary toiletries had previoulsy been used. We had no towels or wash clothes in our room, except for the dirty wash cloth that was left on top of the shower rod. The only nice thing I have to say is that the front desk staff was very friendly and the complimentary hot breakfast was good. I don't think it was worth the money we paid for the one night we stayed.

We really enjoyed this hotel, great pool and fitness room. Free breakfast was best we had on our seven day trip. The nice young lady that checked us in was very friendly. Great location off of I-20. Would definitely stay here again.
