Good, functional hotel

We were in Odessa to visit with family. The La Quinta is right off of one of the main roads from the airport, and other main roads are very close by (like the JBS Pkwy). The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The continental breakfast was above average, and a good deal being included in the cost of the room - you get much more than just bagels and coffee. The rooms are not super luxurious, and we didn't expect them to be. But they are very clean, comfortable, and have all the basics that you would need for a trip...especially if you only plan on sleeping and bathing here. But when you're in the room, there are plenty of TV channels and PPV stuff to order if that's something you need. They do have a small, but nice pool that was not originally listed on the amenities page. There are some newer hotels a few miles away, but they are much more expensive. For the location and price, this was a great option for us and we would recommend it to other travelers.
