Best Things Nearby:
Numerous parks, rafting, canoeing, hiking, golf, riding, Helen, Highlands, Cashiers, antique shops, gem mining, train, fishing, etc.

Best Things About the Resort:
Great location surrounded by mountains and excellent customer service.

Resort Experience:
Our unit was more than ideal. It overlooked the golf course and pond and slept six comfortably (king-size bed, two twin in loft, foldout couch), full kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, fireplace, large living room and eating area, huge deck with excellent view (see image).

Best Things Nearby:
Waterfalls on site, Black Rock Mountain State Park, Skiing on site, Snowtubing 3 miles away at Scaly Mtn., Several other ski resorts close by, Major groceries,restaurants, and Wal-Mart closeby.

Best Things About the Resort:
Check-in was a breeze. Our unit was immaculate and everything worked. Maintenance answered our calls within an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do and see nearby.

Resort Experience:
This is one of the most peaceful places where I have ever stayed. The area was quiet. There was a lake outside our unit with lots of ducks. The waterfall on site was just past our unit and it was splendid. It snowed just before we got there so we were able to have a snowball fight for the very first time. The snowblowers were working each night, but the resort did not open for skiing until December 26. All of the kids and some adults, too, were allowed to sled on the hill since there was no skiing yet. We had a blast. We never get snow where we live, so our kid thought this was heaven. We definitely will go there for next Christmas too.
