DISGUSTING!

The entire place is dirty. You can't see the bottom of the pool. Had to change rooms 4 times because of things being broken or not right. We had to wear our shoes the whole time because otherwise our feet would turn black, even in our room. There were little kids that refused to get in the pool because of how disgusting it was. If you want to stay at a seedy overpriced MOTEL then spend your money but otherwise don't bother.

I have news for those of you that are used to excellent customer service, you won't get it here. The pictures are deceiving! The hotel is very old and smells like mildew EVERYWHERE! They don't have a spa, don't provide room service, no bell staff, no security, bad lighting, don't have water in the room, the ice machines don't work & are on every other floor, don't have wifi & it cost $7 to log onto their computer for 20 minutes, the pool is dirty, the jacuzzi is worse and the staff is rude! They ignore you and make you feel as if you are bothering them while they are doing there job. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! My husband and I stayed in the suite and were miserable. Did I mention the food selection?...TERRIBLE! They shouldn't call themselves all-inclusive because they offer a few things that are edible and they are not very sanitary. I have been to three other countries in the Caribbean before this one and hated it! The highlight of the trip was going to the Atlantis and the booze cruise. Please listen to me and don't be moved by the others that claimed this place is nice!!! You will live to regret it like me! It was a waste of time and money!

Watch Out!--Gets Infiltrated with Recent High-School Graduates

Our experience would have been great, except that on the third day, 200 18-year-olds swamped the place. I have two children, 12 and 8 years old. I had to shield them many times from the antics of the teenagers. I found out that this hotel is a stop for at least two travel agencies that specialize in arranging travel for recently-graduated high school students (without parents). The drinking age in the Bahamas is 18, and apparently this was the main draw for these teenagers. We saw it all--excessive drinking, loud, unruly behavior, foul language, displays of passion. All this time, they were leaving their cups and food baskets all over. Two nights at 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., there was screaming and yelling from the elevator. Some of the kids were stopping on each floor just to wake everyone up. The hotel staff was actually catering to them! Staff would walk around the pool taking their drink orders. We saw kids passed out on lounge chairs, vomiting, and "chaperones" who overlooked a lot. One couple we talked to was on their honeymoon, and they were quite upset that they weren't informed beforehand. If you are a recent high school graduate, I highly recommend the Paradise Island Harbour Resort. Otherwise, stay as far away as possible.

Great resort for the budget minded traveler!

If you need to be entertained all day or are fussy then you might not want to stay at this resort. But If you want an affordable vacation destination in the Bahamas on Paradise Island on the cheap then my friend this place is for you. Coveniently located nearby downtown Nassau, a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches in the caribbean ( Cabbage Beach) and nearby to the fabled Atlantis where their casino is more than happy to take your $ ! Shopping and restaraunts nearby as well, while the all-inclusive feature does include food and beverages, you still have otherr options. I have stayed at this reosrt a total of three times in the last four years and would return no problem. Transfers by Majestic tours from/to airport were professional and courteous. Take the water taxi into Nassau for half the price of a cab. With the cash you save by staying here you can take the Robinson Crusoe cruise to a remote island where you can snorkel, swim, lay in a hammock, play volleyball, enjoy a BBQ lunch and just take in the caribbean sun. Take yourself or the kids to the pirate museum in Nassau or maybe visit the Hard Rock Cafe and have a burger and bring home a t-shirt to your favorite rock star. All this I have done based out of this decent resort for the budget minded consumer. Friendly staff, good buffet, and a nice sized pool which by the way has a bar/grill located in close proximity.

hotel is run down in need of major repairs.
