Silky sheets, many pillows, excellent heating, spacious room, marble bathroom. Everything for comfort. Staff speaks excellent English, welcomes and orients you to the hotel. Great breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything more.
The Nightmare that took all night

I recently stayed in the Marriott Lisbon, from October 25th to October 31st, and had a very disconcerting experience. My wife and I checked in late in the afternoon. We were tired so we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and went up to our room. When we got back to the room we found it to be too cold. I began to slowly adjust the temperature to a warmer setting being careful not to move it too fast as we didn?t want the temperature to get too hot. I did this for almost 40 minutes as the room became colder and colder. I called down to the front desk to be sure I was turning the thermostat in the correct direction to warm the room and NOT make it colder. I was told I was indeed doing this correctly and that I had to be patient as temperature changes could take 20 to 30 minutes. Fortunately, my wife and I had sheerling coats because after another 49 minutes the room was frigid! My wife actually had to get into the bed, coat and clothes on to shield herself from the cold. I called again and the front desk informed me that they had checked our temperature and that they would need to send a technician up to correct the problem. The problem persisted all night and in the end the staff blamed us for the problem!~
On a business conference to Lisbon

Hotel was bright and welcoming, staff friendly and efficient, and facilities were more than adequate. A little far out of the centre, but taxis in Lisbon are inexpensive at around 6 euros to go anywhere. The outdoor pool area was nice and of course the Marriott beds are something special - highly recommended after a hard day!!

Great staff very useful and friendly, nice room with awesome beds.
The lunch buffet is excellent with plenty of seefood and the outside swimming pool gives just a great atmosphere to the hotel;
Only bad point for me was the cost of the business center
Highly Recommended for a conference in Lisbon

I stayed at the Marriott Lisbon as a part of a company organized conference. The hotel is absolutely very nice, way above the average Marriott, in a location between the airport and the city centre.A taxi transportation to the city centre dont take longer than 5-10 min.The room was spacious, modern with balcony. The bathroom was very nice, clean and functional, with combined bath and shower. The breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the hotel was delicious.
I would highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely stay there again.
