Great place to stay

Within walking distance (if you're in ok shape) to many attractions. First day we walked to the trocadero and tower as well as as home from the Arc de Triomph. Let me say that the courtesy and friendliness of the staff was exemplary. They spoke English, always happy to help, and absolutely wonderful. I'm not sure I'd tell any first time traveller to Paris to stay anywhere else. FANTASTIC PEOPLE ARE CRUCIAL TO FEELING WELCOME. Didn't eat at the hotel, but there is a restaurant in the lower level. There is a bakery across the street and a small grocer two doors down. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood, but remember that the Metro station is very close so you can get anywhere you want very very quickly. The area is quiet at night, as this is located in the financial district and I always felt safe walking about. I have no complaints about the location, hotel, or anything else. Absolutely a pleasant stay. I can't say enough about how helpful the staff is and how approachable they are. You will not be disappointed unless you expect to spend your whole trip in the room, which is comfortable, but not plush. But you don't go to Paris to look at your hotel room. There was a refrigerator in the room to keep your drinks cold, or any snacks you might buy from the grocer. Can I say enough good things? Not really. It was such a great place to stay, and I plan to stay again when we go back. They impressed us and the price was very reasonable. You can't go wrong here. I'm envious that the reader of this message is going back to Paris!

This was the 3rd time I had stayed at this hotel. You cannot beat the location and helpful staff. We were a group of 6 ladies and the apartment with a double room next door fit our traveling needs to a tee. The staff was friendly, spoke english and helped with all our requests. The Metro was a block away with the Open Air Bus stop perhaps 2 blocks away. The Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe were both in walking distance of the hotel. Can't get much better than this!

The hotel was great not only in location but in service (english & spanish). Don't eat there, save money and go have breakfast across Kleber in the pastry shop. Great shower though. Take lots of money, everything is very expensive compared to U.S. My best purchase was the Metro Pass. Great pizzas in Roma restaurant on Champs. Buy stuff at the store on the hotel block and take to the room. If you go now take good coats because it was FREEZING.

I had just stayed here last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. i work at a hotel i know if its good or not so heres my honest review. here are the pros and cons for this hotel: Pros: the location, its a 7 min walk to see the eifel tower, a 15 min walk to the arc triomphe, next door on the left of the hotel is a small grocery store (to buy bottled water etc), left of it is an italian restaurant. half a block on the right are 2 cafes/brasserie (cheesburgers anyone?), a block is a Metro station. The staff is wonderful, fluent in English. the rooms are very nice and kept clean. full bathtub/shower. daily housekeeping. if you get a top view, youll see the eifel tower when you wake up in the morning. there is breakfast served for 10 euros/person which includes croissants, jam, pastries, fruits, yogart, ham/cheese omelets are 5 euros extra a piece. there is an in-room safebox, to get a key you must deposit $ which will be returned to you at check out. Cons: i cant find anything wrong with this hotel, its just perfect in everyway, i cant seem to find any other place to stay again next time but this place. if youre one of the type that expects too much for paying nothing and likes to go dust hunting around your room instead of being outside exploring then you should consider going somewhere else. if youre the smart type like me, i can tell you this is a good deal. i guarantee it. ENJOY YOUR TRIP! =)
