Well-maintained and in a great location

Resort Experience:
The unit was richly furnished, with a comfortable feel, and directly above the hot tub and sauna. All it lacks is a little modern electronic update to DVD and CD capabilities.

Best Things Nearby:
The mountain, the town, the views, the snow, and did I mention the mountain?

Best Things About the Resort:
Nice accommodations and large units, along with helpful and friendly staff. Not ski-in/ski-out, but the shuttle bus stops at the end of the drive.

Resort Experience:
The units were designed to be privately owned but were turned into timeshares after the oil bust of the early 1980s. So these units are older than most but have been well maintained. The cherrywood fireplace and paneling throughout unit, along with beautiful stained-glass, make these units special. The private indoor hot tub and dry sauna are very enjoyable. I like an outdoor hot tub even in the cold of winter, so we opened windows that surround the hot tub to let in the cool air. My wife and personally own two units: a two-bedroom and a two-bedroom with a loft. (We think of it as having three bedrooms.)

The Sunburst Condominiums location is convenient for shopping, dining, or skiing. There are a number of fun things to do nearby.

Best Things About the Resort:
Our assigned timeshare was a two-bedroom, two-bath unit. It was tastefully and comfortably furnished and had a nice homey feel to it. We especially liked the pretty stained glass in the front door and in the doors of the book shelves located in the living room. The kitchen was well organized and equipped for cooking.

Resort Experience:
Our unit was located on the second floor and the spa for the condos was conveniently located just beneath us. It must have been well insulated, since we were never disturbed by noise from the spa.

The unit was well maintained. We called about the ice maker not working, and within an hour a maintenance person arrived and solved the problem. The management company was good about answering questions and solving problems for us.

We found Sunburst Condominiums to be a wonderful timeshare and would not mind staying there again.

Resort Experience:
We would go back every year. We considered our two bedroom/loft a three bedroom since we had three totally private sleeping areas and three full baths. The units are in a cluster of condos that are fully owned, so you really feel like you are in a rented condo. The views from the unit are great and the sevice was wonderful.

Resort Experience:
Very nicely furnished timeshare and well equipped. We were very pleased with the unit. It slept 6 very comfortably. The overall condition of the units were excellent. Nice, quiet location!
