My new wife and I wanted to have a mini honeymoon in Myrtle Beach. We looked at many hotels in the area, and Red Roof Inn was the best choice for the price. The room was very clean and the staff was nice and wanted to make our stay a good one. They gave us an upgrade because we told them we were newly weds. We wanted to say Thank You to the staff.
A place to crash

The hotel was actually nicer then I had expected. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room was nice, plenty of channels on the t.v if you just want to relax in the room for awhile. The bathroom could have been better, the bath tub felt like it was warped and was uneven. The hallways kinda smelled funny but nothing unbearable. The contenantal breakfast was your choice of coffee, tea, or juice and a store bought pastry. I did not trust the elevators at all, I thought they would breakdown everytime I rode one. The pool was small but nice, warm water and clean. The beach was about a five minute walk away and a nice mini-golf park right next door. Me and my friends stayed there for four nights and I would stay there again, no real complaints other than minor whining. Overall a decent place to stay for the price.
