From the street we thought, nice Condo. But our 2 bedroom condo was spectacular. Ocean view was breathtaking. The breeze was warm and inviting. WE were spell bound by the view of never ending blue water. The sound of waking to the waves on the shoreline was so calming. In a days drive we had abandoned the snow drifts and melted in the sunny beaches. The condo was spacious, sunny and bright. We thought we were staying at Hilton Head. TVs in every room, could not believe it. First rate facilities, first class activities, excellent inviting staff. The absolute best timeshare condo we have enjoyed so far.

Best Things Nearby:
Shopping, restaurants, and nightlife

Best Things About the Resort:
People are very friendly, all rooms are oceanfront and very nice, and location is the best because it is so close to everything that you can walk just about everywhere!

Resort Experience:
The room I stayed in was a one-bedroom with king-size bed. It also had a queen fold-out sofa bed in the living room. If you have children, it is great because it also has a room with two bunk beds.

The Yachtsman

Best Things Nearby:
This resort has one of the greatest locations in Myrtle Beach. It is directly on the beach and right next to the pier where you can fish, and there is a restaurant at the end of the pier with great food. Also, there a lot of other dining options and shops across the street or within walking distance. There is also the Ripley's Haunted Adventure and the Pavilion Amusement Park.

Best Things About the Resort:
I didn't really stay at this resort, but we wish we had. We stayed off of the beach and went to this resort to go to the beach.

Resort Experience:
Myrtle Beach is a really fun place to go, and I would recommend it to anyone for the multiple activities either within walking distance or within a short drive that would entertain all ages! Even if you don't stay at this resort, I would still stop by and check it out!!

Ocean, Broadway at the Beach, Pancake House across the street

Best Things About the Resort:
Hot tub, colorful rooms, in-room Jacuzzi

Resort Experience:
Nice... although we went while they were doing construction on the drainage system on the beach right outside our room. Luckily, we are early risers anyway; otherwise, we would have been woken up every morning by the construction equipment, drilling metal beams into the sand. Otherwise, it was a very nice resort. They say construction should be over soon.

The rooms at the Yachtsman were a little small, especially the bunk bedroom that my two children were supposed to sleep in. The bed was no longer than 5 feet, and it was stuffed in a room smaller than a walk-in closet. If you sat up on the top bunk, you bumped your head on the ceiling.

To get to the indoor pool, you had to pass by a construction site outside, and then go into another building. There were no facilities to change clothes other than a bathroom.

The staff was friendly, and apologized for the construction.
