Good experience

We used Marriott points to get the room then paid to upgrade to a deluxe room so the kids could be in the same room. The hotel in turn upgraded us to a suite---very nice. We arrived in the morning and they let us go ahead and check in. The next morning we checked out before sight-seeing. They stored our luggage and had a cab waiting for us to get to the airport--again, nice. The conceirge was most helpful and breakfast was plentiful. It's a short and easy walk to restaurants and shopping on Oxford street and then an easy walk the other direction to Marble Arch where the hop-on, hop-off tour bus can get hopped on. Very convenient!. Tube stop very close as well. There is construction going on but this was no problem for us. This was great for us.

Hotel with potential

Hotel is located in a beautiful area and convenient to all of London. Is undergoing construction and noise begins at 8am. Had difficulty getting the correct accomodation, 1st room had one king bed when 2 doubles were requested. Took awhile to get straightened out. Lobby was disappointing, no seating area--again under construction. This could be a fabulous hotel as it is in a great location overlooking a quiet, beautiful square with some great restaurants and pubs nearby. Once they get the construction issues cleared up it should be great.

Excellent Marriott standards - although 20 pounds a day for wi-fi service is too much for what is now a traveler's necessity not a luxury

London Marriott at Grosvenor Square

The hotel blends modern and contemporary style with classic London. The hotel caters to business people as opposed to tourists. You will not find many families staying here. The hotel staff is well aware that business travellers have little time, so they are very efficient and ready to help make your stay go smoothly. The accommodations are very modern and clean. The location is in a very upscale part of London, with easy access to the rest of the city.
