Room was extremely small for two people (one was 6 foot four} both bath/shower and basin drained extremely slowly and you were left standing in 6 inches of soapy water at the end of each shower, basin did the same and when we complained the mtce removed the entire stopper system from the basin to improve(left the drain system lying on the basin) no work done on the bath. We assumed the room was airconditioned this consisted of a one foot fan mounted on the wall had to keep the window propped up with hotel "cup" be prepared for high cost of dining continental breakfast was $15 each Make sure that you aquire a room at the rear of the hotel as the nights are full of sirens running past will not return

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was great. It was only about a block away from a subway station, and a few minutes ride from oxford circus and marble arch. The entire month stay was a very pleasant experience.

Good, clean, cheap place to stay in London. However the windows did not open and it was stuffy. Also with all the lights turned off the room was still very bright with silly night lights you could not turn off.
Plaza on Hyde Park
The Plaza on Hyde park is located across Bayswater Rd. from Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. It is a short walk (1-2 blocks)from a tube stop and within walking distince from Paddington Station. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful lobby. The room was relatively small: two twin beds and a closet. There was no dresser, so we had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcases. Price of the room included continental breakfast which consisted of juice, coffee/tea, cereal, croissants, cheese.
