Vacation in Venice

Venice is a very beautiful city. I think the best thing I enjoyed about it was the quiet and peacefulness of the city. Though it is always filled with people, the city still seems peaceful and a great place to explore and relax at.

It is really easy to get lost in this city! Believe it or not, the tiny winding roads and alleys can get confusing. Don't hesitate to stop and ask someone for help!

Best Way To Get Around:

Amazingly, this little island is not very big on automobiles. Instead, they have taken a great liking to water transportation. If you have a big budget, a water taxi or frequent gondola rides are good. But if you want to save some money, try the water bus - its quick, convenient, and inexpensive.

So before you visit Venice, many people will tell you to avoid the Gondola rides. Many people believe them to be an expensive tourist trap. But I totally disagree!! This is one tourist trap that you absolutely cannot leave Venice without experiencing. The Gondala rides are amazing and give you an experience of Venice that is hard to duplicate. On the boat, the city seems even more beautiful. Plus, your Gondola driver will give you some great little tid bits about the city. My friends and I actually took the opportunity to get some inside info from the driver as well. For instance, he gave us some good tips on nice local restaurants. The views and experiences you can get from a gondola ride are hard to duplicate!! Do not miss out on a ride if you are in Venice!!

This is probably the most famous square in the entire city. When you visit this square, as you stand at one end of the square, it will seem as if the square is so vast. The shape and the formation of the square make it seem vast and really bigger than meets the eye. It is really a lot of fun to visit this square. As you walk through the square, you can take in the great smells coming from the various little cafes and eateries. Plus, you can enjoy the soothing Italian music playing from the shops. It is definitely a fun place to go and walk around. Browse a little, shop a little, explore a little, and then don't forget to have a bite to eat here because this square has a lot of amazing options!
