- Austin is living proof that great things come in small packages. The downtown is a celebration of 19th century architecture and vibrant music clubs, catering to young and old alike. Austin is also home to some wonderful restaurants, and it wasn’t long before we became bona fide barbecue addicts.

- Tubing on the Guadalupe is a quintessential Texas experience. In fact, if you're young and outrageous, or a little white trashy, or BOTH, there isn't a single thing to do in the ENTIRE STATE that is quite as unique and pleasurable.

- I've been to Austin numerous times to visit friends, to party, and to watch my HS b-ball team play in the state championship. It's a nice place to visit (and an excellent place to PARTY), but I wouldn't want to live there.
