If you are looking for a private room in a hostel, I'm not sure why anyone would stay anywhere else. My private room had it's own cable TV, computer with internet, and a real mattress. The house was super clean and everyone was friendly. Can't beat their homemade sushi either.

I had read all the great reviews about Bekuo before I arrived, so I had high expectations, and they were definitely exceeded. The place is super clean, and it just feels like a home. Six people that work there actually live there, and I think this makes a huge difference, because they seem to really care about the place.

If you have to go to San Jose and spend just one night there, Bekuo is the place to stay.
