The accommodations were of suite type, single bed with attached bath. Free breakfast was provided. Travel desk is available. Grocery stores are nearby. Travel to main strip and attractions from the hostel was convenient. We found the hostel not so clean and not recommendable, except to backpackers.

USA Hostels Las Vegas

This is a friendly, clean hostel in Vegas. It's actually the only hostel in Vegas at the moment as the other one is shut for renovation.

I think it was a motel once - the dorms are large and not overfilled with bunks and there's a pool ouside.

The hostel will pay the cost of a taxi from the Greyhound station if you call in advance and ask for a pick-up. The taxi driver I spoke to insisted it was too close to make it worth getting into a taxi for. He was wrong, it's a fair few blocks away from the main part of Vegas and definitely not the friendliest part of town. I walked it every night without getting into trouble but weighed down with a rucksack I wished I'd forced the taxi driver to take me.
