Never Again!

I felt like the hotel was smack in the middle of 'Ho Heaven' and 'Homeless Haven.' I felt unsafe walking around during the day. The advertisement is truly misleading. For the money, the hotel is fine if you just want the bare basics. But if you want ANY amenities, go elsewhere.

Have stayed there twice now, and will stay again ! We know the area is not the best, but just like any big city in the United States and world.

Hotel Patricia - Vancouvder

Vancouver is beautiful. Hotel Patricia is less than 2 stars...in a dangerous part of town and the rooms are barely kept clean. My budget requires inexpensive travel requirements, but this was the worst place I have ever stayed in terms of safety and cleanliness.

I would not recommend this hotel

First impression of the hotel was a pretty scary one. My friend and I arrived after the lobby was locked for the night. We walked through the homeless exhibit on Hastings Street to the door and the guy at the desk asked what we wanted in a really rough voice before even opening the door for us. So we head in to get our room key and head up to our room. It was by far the smallest room I have ever been in (and I have been on 6 cruises). It was very weird for the sink to be right in the doorway and not in the bathroom (which was also extremely tiny). The bed was really uncomfortable and the sheets were really rough.
