Great Staff! Great Location! and very

U232 was the hotel of our choice for its rating/price/and location. And it surely was what it claimed/promised. Hotel staff is very friendly and ready to help with all your needs. The room was clean and very well furnished. The free wi-fi feature did not work for us well though... partially due to elevation (we're on 7th floor). But free internet and print access in conference room was fantastic for getting quick information off the web and print them out for references. The Location seems to be one of the stongest merit for U232. It's about one block away from Metro Station (Greenline-if I remember correctly) and it connects to Rails going out of town, major attractions, as well as into the heart of the city. Overall, it was simple excellent place to stay... away from home... but feel like at home.

Overall Very Good

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was a tad farther walking to the sights than we had originally wanted or intended (we originally signed up for the Europark Hotel, but it turned out to be under renovation and we were reassigned to this sister hotel). Even so, all the main sights were within reasonable walking distance. There is a metro station nearby, but we ended up not using it. The architectural sights in the neighborhood of the hotel were enjoyable in their own right, in terms of art nouveau touches and wrought-iron work. The main Gaudi attractions are well within walking distance from this hotel, maybe 20 mins to La Pedrera and Casa Battlo. Maybe 30 mins to walk to the heart of the old town, but again you see so much more when you are out walking, and it's all cool to see, so we didn't mind. The hotel beds we found to be very comfortable. The hotel was quiet during Christmas, but as business picked up later in the week, we could hear the TV and use of the bathroom in a neighboring room, so the rooms are not as soundproofed as they could be, but overall the hotel was nice and quiet. We appreciated the safe in the room too. Good buffet breakfast choices in the morning (altho as is the way in Spain, the cost is additional).

nice hotel and rooms but service sucked

they do not respect the sign you put on the door that says do not disturb, instead of refilling the mini bar things are missing after room service is done wich appears on your bill when you check out. i tried telling a supervisor and he just ignored me. there isn't even a iron in the room. location is not so great ether.
