Great maid service

The hotel was great, I had a great room with a view of Lake Superior. I always write thank you on a note for the maid with his/her tip money and the maid here actually left a thank you note back. Not only was the room in great shape, but she gave me directions.
The parking garage is a bit confusing, but other then that it's a great place to stay in Duluth.

For $* a night one would think that when the room was cleaned that they would replenish the coffee...unfortunately they didn't.
Porter's restaraunt, which is the main place to eat in the hotel is only open for breakfast and lunch....dinner you're on your own...one more thing...... don't be in a hurry...they're so sloooooow....

This hotel offered more than we expected and we were pleased with everything....especially the new linens - what a treat, and first class all the way! Rooms were more than comfortable, staff was great, location was perfect - close to shopping and dining. We will be return guests for sure.

The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything! The pools were pretty small. I wouldn't stay there with my kids but it was perfect for a weekend with the girls! It's right in the middle of downtown centrally located between everything that we wanted to do. The beds were great and the room was very clean. I will probably stay here next time!
