First, I made the reservation through Travelocity and overall we had an wonderful vacation in Paris and the hotel was in the best location. Although we had a billing discrepancy at the end, the Pullman Hotel investigated and cleared it up to my satisfication. Check in was quick and smooth as we arrived early the morning of May 22 from the states and we were welcomed with smiles and quick attention to our needs by all front desk staff and bellmen. We stored our bags in the room, freshened up with a shower and went exploring. Breakfast, Patisserie, and grocery store was right around corner. We had a petite breakfast complete with coffee, croussant, egg omlet the bistro/cafe around the corner from the hotel. The Eiffel Tour could be seen from our room which made for a wonderful evening view when it lit up. The Metro, RER Train and Batobus (Boat bus on the Seine River) are within 7 to 12 minute walk. With the little French I knew, we found the people of Paris very welcoming and helpful!
Housekeeping was very attentive and responded promptly to our requests for additional soap, toilet paper, etc.
To Summarize, this is an excellent location with a wonderful staff. We appreciated their prompt service and we do plan to visit again. The air conditioning was not working but the weather was cool except fo the last night but we opened our patio door and it was fine...actually I noticed many people opened their windows or doors at night at the hotel and throughout the city.
Free Internet access from the Business Center in the lobby was very handy checking up on news, airline/flight information.
