Description: I've been told there are better jazz bands and better lounges in Shanghai nowadays, but I love to go see the famous eight-piece jazz band at this historic hotel. They survived the Cultural Revolution, a feat in itself. It's quite touristy and I remember the drinks and cover charge being quite expensive. I recommend stopping by once to visit this historic sight and to see these old guys. It's a slice of history. Plus the hotel has 1930's decor and has been cleaned up.
