Quote: The hotel room we stayed in was kind of small and some things, like door handles and cupboard doors were falling off. The walls are thin. I think I was expecting a little more bang for my buck!

Quote: We stayed at the W for just one night, but it was well worth it. Gorgeous, refreshingly simple and very modern rooms with great colors! The Mini-bar even had an "intimacy kit" for our use, came in handy on our romantic night. The xyz bar and lounge was very chill, casual and had excellent Bliss Spa Martinis, YUMMY! Architecture and decor was very hip and relaxing, but not distracting. Staff was great, room service was prompt and the food was prepared nicely, tasted great too.\nI do not have any complaints about the whole stay... oh, the Bliss Spa was a bit pricey, but if you're on a longer vacation or stay it is probably well worth it! I would stay here again :-)

Quote: I tried to make reservations, and was forwarded to a voicemail box, which stated that the person would be out of town for a few days. Since I wanted to make reservations immediately (don't most hotels have live staff to take your reservations, so you can actually plan a vacation?), I called back the operator, who transferred me to a different voicemail box. I left a message regarding gettting a reservation, and a week later, have still not heard back!

  • Almost perfect hotel

Quote: Ultra chic and modern. Appeals to business travelers, hip-young couples, gay friendly. It's worth the pretty penny if you're looking for something that stands-out, a place out of the ordinary from the stuffy white-walled, blue carpeted hotel room we're used to. It's fairly new, although the rooms are starting to show its age: furniture with scratch marks, dust flying out of the snack box as you pick up the $6 bag of peanuts. The front desk service could bring down their level of hip-ness a bit down to the guest's level. But all in all it's a very enjoyable and unique experience.

Quote: Great hotel in a great location. Modern and hip, without being pretentious. Smooth operation, good service. We spent 3 very comfortable nights there and would go back next time in The City.
