Quote: I would stay away from this one. The place is privately owned and operated and giving good service is not their priority. The whole family sits in the lobby waiting the guests come and go. This is definitely not a professional hotel. They will do anything to squeeze more money out of you. I had booked on-line and when checking in they asked how old my children were. My daughter had just turned 18 and they said it would be $10 more per night. I have never been asked how old my children are by a hotel. I said I wanted to cancel my reservation. They stated it was too late (3pm) and the first night would be charge. I canceled the next 2 nights and later the clerk/owner bragged to my husband that he made $36 more per night from somebody else. The so called continental breakfast was a joke! There was 2 mini muffins and some dry cereal when my husband went and nothing when I went down. They only put out so much and when it was gone, they did not refill (anything to save a buck on their part). The old hotel (which shows it) is on a beautiful bay with access between the fences. The bay was the only thing nice about this hotel.

Quote: On our recent quick trip, we went with the inexpensive and ideally located hotel, right on the Bay. It had no Bay/beach access, which is understandable (maybe or not?). The room smelled old and moldy. The bathroom has not seen bleach in months (if ever). The linens had stains and smelled like Very Cheap laundry soap (not even a dryer sheet to cover the cheap soap smell). The front desk would not (or could not?) print out a copy of anything, no receipt, no nothing. After calling the manager and discussing it, the clerk said they would email me a copy. People were loud late at night and it echoed through the pool area. I would have left, but everything was prepaid, and I doubt I could sqeeze my money back out of them. I am trying to save money, like everyone else, so I only went there to sleep which wasn't always easy. Everyday I took all valuables with me in the rental car. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, unless you are a beach bum and are looking for a cheap place on the Bay.

Quote: My wife and daughter arrived before I did and was treated very well. I was a little worried due to the fact I was not traveling with them. The motel is an older one and the staff was very nice and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the furnishings were in good repair. I like the location because it's away from the hustle and bustle. We were meeting our grand daughter on her arrival from the Persian Gulf. She visited us at the motel. We had two problems that were attended to very promptly and to our satisfaction. I would definitely stay there again.
