Quote: The room was nice and the view was terrific, but we did not like sharing our food and all of the kitchen, dining and living room area with ants and more ants! So my conclusion is Ants and Roaches are still there every other day, sprayed 3 cans of spray from hotel and still did not get rid of them over 16 nights! Oh yeah and I forgot the many Geico's in the room also! I won't go back!!

Quote: The staff was the the only positive I can mention. They were freindly and helpful. The property is run down and over priced. The walls needed painting, the carpet was completely worn out, and the couch was seriously sagging. Our room had roaches and ants and it was BADLY in need of a thorough clean. There were dust bunnies hanging off the wallpaper. In addition, there is no a/c. I believe this would have been fine except our room was angled such that it did not pick up a breeze. In the master bedroom, someone thought it was more important to have mirrors over the bed than the fan, so you could not feel the breeze from the fan even when it was on high. I got almost no sleep the whole time because it was so hot. I do have to say though, that the bed was comfortable.

Quote: My husband, son and I have stayed here the past 4 years. We love the ocean view. We rent directly through an owner and it is like coming home - all the conveniences are already there. It is a quick 4 min drive to Lahaina and although there is no beach directly in front of the condos there is great snorkelling and we see the sea turtles each year just in front of the condo. There is a public beach next door. The pool and hot tub are small but clean and usually not too busy. They have 3 gas BBQ's as well as a charcoal grill which helps to save money. There is a great farmer's market, grocery store. ABC, Pizza Hut and fast food store within walking distance. A great location. The staff are friendly and the grounds are well kept. A great place to stay. We increase our stay every year and are looking forward to another month in 2009. The Culver's, Arizona

Quote: My wife and I have stayed at the Paki six times and absolutely love it. The view of from the lanai, the ocean right there and the friendly staff. We have stayed in more expensive places further south, but we have found our home at the Paki Maui. The best beach in the world is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. All the crowds are also not here. It is always peaceful, thanks to the diligent staff that ensures nobody is disturbing the quiet after 10 pm. Everyday, the groundstaff tidys the yard. We also appreciate that beyond the fully equipped kitchen, there are gas grills at the pool area and charcoal grills in the yard. Thank you Paki! Our only dismay comes from having to pay $10 a day for a parking space (it is not included in the room rate) when it would be next to impossible to stay here without a car.
