Continuing our journey, my friends trek the wall while I enjoy Vindolanda, a Roman fort and town, have a weather-induced adventure, visit Once Brewed National Park Centre and the Roman Army Museum (Carvoran), and enjoy the impressive Walltown Crags before checking in to our 400-year-old B&B.
