We had an enforced stopover in Taipei, a stopover that was to allow us enough time to see a little of the city. Unfortunately, a very delayed flight curtailed our plans somewhat. Still, it was a taster to ensure that we would desire to see more of this bustling city.

Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan, is diverse and fun and never sleeps. To check out the famous Chinese museum, to try the finest food, and yes, to see the tallest building in the world, you've got to go to Taipei.

I LOVE THE PLACE! There is so much to see and do, and things are changing constantly, yet the mainstays are still there. It's got the best of all worlds, culture and history, modern cinemas, and shopping malls, and, yes, unlike other Chinese places, they've got coffee!
