No matter where you live, you have probably caught a glimpse into the Lord of the Rings mania in New Zealand. Wellington is the country´s capital, and, fittingly, the center of the LOTR madness. Whether you love the movies or have never seen them, this city has plenty to offer.

Wellington is my hometown - I lived here for 20 years, I love it dearly and I miss it so much! It's centrally located and easy to get to in New Zealand, it has so much to offer - great food, great local music, fantastic scenery are just a start.

Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, is situate on a harbour at the southern tip of the North Island. It is much less visited than Auckland, but still see many travellers because of its important role as the major crossroad between the North and South Islands
