My friends in Sri Lanka announced the wedding of their daughter for July in Colombo. It would be Indian style. Since I was to be on a trip to India before July, I decided to buy a sherwani to wear to the wedding.

I spent my third week in the state of Goa, an old Portuguese colony, where you could spend your time just lying on the beaches or going around the little village, or (like I did) hiring a scooter and doing both!

Bangalore is the most liberal city in India with it's modern cafes and shopping malls and is referred to "Silicon Valley of India".It is very famous for its gardens.
