I attended a wedding reception at the Waterfront Trellis, and during the bride and groom's first dance, my husband saw the staff eating the favors given to the guests. We vacation in the Outer Banks often but will not be dining at this restaurant after seeing the lack of professionalism.

Great place to vacation with or without a budget. Activities include swimming, crabbing, jet skiing, sailing, surfing, tanning, and eating. There is something for everyone. The beaches are clean and the people are friendly, but plan to leave early when you check out.

We didn't think it possible to make visiting the Outer Banks a more pleasurable experience, but add kids and grandkids and it's even more incredible! No crowds, no worries, just you and your family in complete relaxation and peace.

We have stayed in this area for the last 12 years. It is a great laid-back destination with lots of empty beach area. Our family has enjoyed many vacations here.

Everyone I know pooh-poohed the idea of spending a winter week in the Outer Banks. We proved them wrong by having a glorious time in the cold but beautiful natural environment of this largely undeveloped area.
