- This is a great place for a family vacation, as there is lots to do for everyone. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our place was beautiful as well as comfortable. The kids loved it.

- We decided to spend Christmas together as a family. The lodging was a separate log cabin. It's close to the Washington DC area but secluded enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. A wonderful getaway with great accommodations.

- A visit to this area offers an opportunity to visit multiple Civil War battlefields. Most notable is Chancellorsville, but Fredricksburg and the Wilderness are also nearby. The National Park Service has an excelent display and information service here.

- The Presidential Resort at Chancellorsville, Virginia is an ideal base for visits to various Civil War battlefields. It is located on the grounds of the Chancellorsville Battle. Nearby are the battlefields of Fredricksburg and the Wilderness. The resort features log cabins.
