- As Malta is typically British it was no surprise to find the Christmas festivities in full flow and the hotels draped with twinkling fairy lights. The weather though was calm and mild and for at least 3 out of the 7 days were spent sitting around the beautiful pool and gardens of Salina Wharf. The indoor pool there is perfect and the feeling of getting into bath type temperate heavenly. The apartments are clean spacious and the staff really helpful especially the night porter who found tea, coffee, sugar and water when we arrived in the middle of the night after a flight delay!!

- We had a nice apartment and fine service, and there were some great places to eat and a lovely beach.

- We arrived in a very hot Malta (with high temperatures of 42 degrees Centigrade for the first 10 days), found our hire car, and made our way to Sunny Coast resort. What a disappointment! It was dirty, dingy, and the worst timeshare we have ever been to. Going to the beach was on our list of things we wanted to do, but there was not one.

- Malta is a beautiful Mediterranean country. Small, but has plenty of history. Easy to get around if you take their buses.

- This is a very touristy resort, but well placed to explore. Swim from the rocks in the super clear, warm sea.

- I stayed at this resort for one week with my 17-year-old daughter. It was a place we wanted to spend a week away together sunbathing, eating, and talking. We enjoyed every moment of it.

- Malta was not high on my list of places that I wanted to visit, however I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did -- it was wonderful
