- Wyoming - where the buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope really DO play - the least populated state in our nation - extremely rural, extremely beautiful - and the second part of this 2 month road trip. We went from Devil's Tower to Yellowstone on this trip.

- This was the question asked of Rangers during our week in Yellowstone National Park. Their answer was always the same "the best time to see bears or any wildlife is early morning and late evening."
We knew this, but only the bears were aware of this time frame.

- Yellowstone is a vast and ever changing national park. The abundance of wildlife, the mountains and lakes, the waterfalls, the regrowth following the wildfires and the thermal area/geysers present such a varied landscape. This truly is one of America's Most Beautiful National Parks.

- Yellowstone must be an end destination with plenty of time to spend to fully see everything there is to see. Everyone knows about Geysers but many are unaware of how diverse of an area this park is as you travel around it.

- I visited both Glacier and Yellowstone parks on my trip to Montana and they were surprisingly different. Yellowstone is like disneyworld, it has erupting geysers, big Buffalo and lots of tourists. Glacier feels more like a wilderness park with less crowds and more of a wild feel to it.
