We went for a wedding, but went wine tasting and to Hearst Castle. A very relaxing, quaint little town.

Rented a lovely house and had dinner at The Black Cat. Very romantic. We loved it so much the first night we went back the second night. I don't think I could give a higher recommendation.

For Spring Break we headed south to LA and Disneyland. Rather than taking the very boring I-5 we took the slower 101 and headed off the freeway to see Hearst Castle and the Cambria area. It was well worth the detour.

Cambria is located on the Central Coast of California. Cambria is an ideal getaway for couples, lovers or singles. The scenery is magical. A rugged coastline and towerig pines are part of the beauty you'll find here.

Long drives don’t especially thrill me, on the drive from San Francisco to Santa Barbara, we stopped overnight in Cambria. Its a small city just north of San Luis Obispo, along Pacific Coast Highway. Cambria is known for its beautiful beaches, quaint downtown, and proximity to Central Coast Wine Country.
