- We stayed at Senedo Springs resort at Bryce Mountain. The pool was a pain to get too and so was the lake, but the lake was beautiful and well worth it! There was not much in the immediate area to see. Plan on a doing a lot of driving!

- Very nice accommodations at the Summit at Massanutten: swimming pools and nice grounds (including putt putt). Even better for kids older than 12 because they have events to sign up for. The resort is building an indoor/outdoor waterpark, which will add to the fun. A lot of sightseeing within 1 hour drive.

- We stayed in the Summit in a lower unit. These units were very clean and a fantastic view. These rooms are built on the side of a mountain and it is therefore quite a walk up. We took the car almost everywhere. The kids loved the skate park.

- Our first summer getaway after school and soccer. Two parents, three children, and a brand new puppy visited the Massnutten Mountains, stayed at The Summit, and had a wonderful vacation--a great early summer getaway.
